Parking a car on a bicycle path is both never checked and if checked the fine is almost nothing (especially compared to other EU countries).

Science justifies running red lights. Rules that are good for cars and trucks are not necessarily good for cyclists, but we of course knew that all along.
Berlin police is not worried about protecting at risk cyclists as much as enforcing the law on them instead of on the cars who pose the real risk.

Most of the bike share stations in Berlin are constructed on the pavements because —god forbid— any parking places should be sacrificed.
